As a matter of fact, the radiant heat of the walls is more important, in view of comfort, of the air temperature in the room, and this confirms the advantages of radiation as a way of heating. The air, even if hot, cannot increase the temperature of the surrounding walls. If the walls are cold and their temperature is 4°5°C lower than the air temperature, not to feel cold, we'll have to further increase the air temperature with the result of getting too hot, dusty, deionised air, while the room surfaces will still be cold.
